In the thermo-hydraulic sector, TECNOFOR deals with the production of ball valves, but not only: we also produce fittings, nipples, complex moldings and balls for a wide range of applications. Our departments operate on 3 working shifts, ensuring continuous production 24 hours a day.
Our valve balls are highly customizable: starting from specific projects and needs of the sector, we work metal adapting to the customer’s expectations and requests. Thanks to our flexibility, we can offer tailor-made solutions that meet every need.

We operate both on the production of standard spheres on high volumes and on smaller volumes and we are specialized in the supply of special spheres such as 3-way, 4-way, with holes in the gap, oblique holes, special lightenings.

Transformation of the raw material and production of the raw material
Thanks to the interdisciplinary expertise of our Group, we design custom tools both for the construction of our products and for the development of machinery and equipment used to manufacture them. In particular, we specialize in the creation of molds and hydraulic clamping equipment for CNC machines, transfer machines, and lathes. In addition to the main techniques for producing castings through high-pressure die casting, sand casting, gravity casting, and low-pressure casting, we also utilize advanced processes such as investment casting, lost-wax casting, and sintering, ensuring optimal solutions for every production need.
The process begins with the use of brass bars, which are subjected to hot stamping, possibly followed by a treatment of the raw material to improve its characteristics. Subsequently, mechanical processing and diamond cutting are carried out on dedicated machines to ensure high precision and quality. If necessary, the piece undergoes a second transfer processing to further refine the details. Finally, the cycle ends with a surface treatment, essential to give the components the desired aesthetic appearance and improve their functional properties. This process is particularly suitable for the production of components intended for the thermo-hydraulic sector.
The process begins with the use of brass ingots as a base material, ideal for the production of components mainly intended for the plumbing and heating sector. The ingots are subjected to shell casting of the rough material, a method that guarantees precision and uniformity in production. Subsequently, mechanical processing and diamond finishing are carried out, crucial phases for obtaining smooth and precise surfaces. When necessary, reworking is carried out to optimize the details. Finally, the cycle ends with surface treatment, essential for improving both the aesthetic appearance and the functional performance of the finished components.
We are specialized in the supply of components for the thermo-hydraulic sector also on turned parts up to diameter 40, and we work on parts machined from bar stock. We use both single-spindle numerically controlled machines on special turning for even small batches, and multi-spindle machines to satisfy customer requests for standard turning components and large batches. Also in this case we take care of the processing of all brass plating as well as AVP aluminum and iron.
Hot stamping is a manufacturing process used in the automotive industry to form metal components by applying heat and pressure. This method is particularly effective for working with high-strength materials, such as light alloys, that are difficult to shape when cold. The process is also known as “hot stamping” or “press hardening.”
